This month, find out how young Kiwanis members gathered in Lisbon to strengthen and shape the future of our movement.

We’re also sharing the most moving moments from Télévie, a major fundraising event for cancer research – particularly for children – involving all Kiwanis clubs in Luxembourg.

And what’s more… in a few days’ time, we’ll be meeting up in Catania for the European Convention. A unique opportunity to catch up with Kiwanis friends from all corners of Europe, to exchange ideas and experiences, and of course, to take part in the important decisions that will shape the future of Kiwanis in Europe.

This month, we will be looking at various initiatives led by clubs to build a better future for our children.

We will also be moved by the joint effort of KI-E and KCF to bring a moment of joy to Ukrainian children.

This year, the European convention will be held jointly with the Italy-San Marino District convention, from 28 to 30 May, in the beautiful and culturally rich city of Catania, Sicily.

Serving as KI-E Auditor for 2025-26, Alain Barberi was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Borgomanero, Italy-San Marino District.

“On Friday, 30 January, we unexpectedly lost a great Kiwanis friend, a man who was committed to everything he did. We will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace”, said KI-E President Elio Garozzo.

Our sincere and deepest condolences go out to his family.

Since the beginning of the administrative year, 5 new clubs have been opened, including 2 Voices Clubs, and we have recorded a net gain of approximately 400 new members.

Let us continue this positive momentum and utilise tools such as Achieving Club Excellence (ACE) to strengthen our presence throughout Europe.

And let’s get ready for Catania! Registration will open soon. In the meantime, renowned chef Seby Sorbello is working on the gala dinner menu…

As the year draws to a close, I would like to thank you all for everything you do for Kiwanis and, above all, for your tireless efforts to help as many children as possible grow up in a healthy environment.

The projects we have been working on since the beginning of the year will certainly help to offer them, step by step, a bright future.

The 2025-26 administrative year marks a crucial moment for Kiwanis International-Europe (KI-E): it will be the launch of a three-year strategic path (2025-28) with the goal of transforming KI-E into an operational hub serving districts, clubs and members. This year will serve as a pilot phase, essential to test and consolidate tools, methods and actions that will bring value to our entire organization in the medium term.

Open to young people aged 16-20 from all over Europe, the Youth Camp – hosted by the Kiwanis District Austria – will take place from 29 June to 6 July in Hohenems, Austria. The Kiwanis Youth Camp is a unique opportunity to meet other young people from all over Europe, experience other cultures, build friendships, learn about volunteering and leadership, and have lots of fun!
