Serving as KI-E Auditor for 2025-26, Alain Barberi was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Borgomanero, Italy-San Marino District.
“On Friday, 30 January, we unexpectedly lost a great Kiwanis friend, a man who was committed to everything he did. We will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace”, said KI-E President Elio Garozzo.
Our sincere and deepest condolences go out to his family.
Since the beginning of the administrative year, 5 new clubs have been opened, including 2 Voices Clubs, and we have recorded a net gain of approximately 400 new members.
Let us continue this positive momentum and utilise tools such as Achieving Club Excellence (ACE) to strengthen our presence throughout Europe.

As the year draws to a close, I would like to thank you all for everything you do for Kiwanis and, above all, for your tireless efforts to help as many children as possible grow up in a healthy environment.

The 2025-26 administrative year marks a crucial moment for Kiwanis International-Europe (KI-E): it will be the launch of a three-year strategic path (2025-28) with the goal of transforming KI-E into an operational hub serving districts, clubs and members. This year will serve as a pilot phase, essential to test and consolidate tools, methods and actions that will bring value to our entire organization in the medium term.
Open to young people aged 16-20 from all over Europe, the Youth Camp – hosted by the Kiwanis District Austria – will take place from 29 June to 6 July in Hohenems, Austria. The Kiwanis Youth Camp is a unique opportunity to meet other young people from all over Europe, experience other cultures, build friendships, learn about volunteering and leadership, and have lots of fun!
Situated in north-east Iceland, in one of the longest fjords in the country and surrounded by mountains, Akureyri is the second largest urban area after the capital area of ReykjavĂk.
Get together with friends from all over Europe, meet new people, be inspired by the workshops and play a part in shaping the future of our organisation.
Initiated by 2023-24 KI-E President Josy Glatigny and his team of governors, the “Back to the Race” programme included a section on growth, focusing especially on younger members. Clubs which welcomed and integrated at least two members under the age of 40 in their clubs would be awarded the “NEO CLUB” label. During the 2023-24 Kiwanis year, 65 clubs in Europe did so!Â
