Under the leadership of Markus Lanz and Francesco Valenti, both trustees of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, and KCF Ambassador Europe Christian De Maesschalck, the European kickoff for the global Kiwanis Children’s Fund project “The Possibility Project” took place in Prague. The goal is to raise €25 million by 2028 – enough to support 10 million children worldwide.
With just €2.25 per child, targeted measures in the areas of health, education, nutrition, and personal development can be implemented. The funds go to local projects with a global impact – children in disadvantaged situations benefit directly.
At the kickoff, chairs from all over Europe came together to develop strategies and lay the foundation for successful implementation. All Kiwanis clubs are invited to participate. Particularly committed clubs can be recognized as “Impact Clubs” – the requirement is an average contribution of €500 per member over five years. A special highlight awaits clubs in 2026: the European TPP Award will be presented for the first time at the KI-E Convention in Catania. Districts and clubs that have successfully collected for the project by April 2026 will be honored with bronze, silver, gold, or the exclusive platinum award.
Now it’s up to Europe: Together, we can create real opportunities where previously there was only hope. Make the impossible possible!
