As we begin the 2025–2026 Kiwanis year, one word stands at the center of our mission: communication. A strong, united voice is essential to share who we are, what we do, and why it matters. In a diverse and dynamic Europe, communication is the key to strengthening our identity, building bridges between districts, and amplifying the impact of every local club, and I am very proud and, at the same time, aware of the big responsibility, to have been appointed as BMC Chair for Kiwanis Europe.
This year, we are happy to introduce a new European unifying service initiative that reflects our values and our vision for the future. At the heart of this project are four powerful themes:
Children, Sustainability, Environment and Growth,
according to the Strategic Plan of our President Elio Garozzo.
The proposed initiative will encourage clubs across Europe to develop and support local projects that:
To achieve these objectives, clubs can choose to carry out at least one of the main activities proposed:
Whether it’s planting trees, organizing eco-workshops, or cleaning up local parks, each action will be a step toward growth of awareness, collaboration, and hope for a better and sustainable future.
The slogan of our project should be: One Europe, One Voice
It will be a shared European story, told in every language, through every club, with the same goal:
Serving the children of the world—by protecting the world they will grow up in.
Together, we grow. Together, we serve. Together, we communicate.
Conclusions
The 2025-2026 year will be one of experimentation and consolidation, laying the foundations for a stronger, more united, and more impactful Kiwanis International Europe. Sustainable growth, youth engagement, community impact, and a clear, motivating recognition system are the cornerstones of this new direction.
With confidence, we look forward to the Convention in Catania, where we hope to celebrate many achievements together, aware that they will be the result of the collective commitment of members, clubs, and districts across Europe.
